Just before Christmas, the university offered me admission into the graduate program, and I quickly accepted. Traveled there, met, loved the people and the program, and submitted my application for a Fall 2017 start as soon as I could. I reached out to them and the dean was kind enough to agree to meet with me. Top 20 school in its field worldwide, with both on-campus and online versions of the degree I want. Last year I found the graduate school that worked for me. Fingers crossed, with a couple of terms to go, I still have a 4.0 GPA at SNHU, and am working hard to keep it that way through graduation-but if I miss an A, at least I'll still graduate summa cum laude.

My strategy has been to get the best grades I could at SNHU, so even if potential graduate schools saw SNHU as middling at best (which seemed possible), at least they'd see that I did as well as I possibly could. From the start, I've known that in my new field, I'd need an MS or equivalent from a good school to be able to work, and so I've just been hoping that my work at SNHU would get me into such a school.
